Global technological upgrading of magnetic separation equipment accelerates significantly in June. Superconducting electromagnetic separation technology has achieved major domestic breakthroughs. The self-developed liquid nitrogen cooling superconducting magnetic circuit raises the magnetic field strength to 25,000GS while reducing energy consumption by 60%, perfectly adapting to fine-grained mineral sorting and waste lithium battery black powder recycling. Internationally, European research institutions have launched a combined flotation and magnetic separation process, cutting chemical agent consumption by 30% and efficiently extracting lithium, cobalt and nickel from mine tailings and scrapped new energy batteries, which is currently in the pilot production stage. In terms of eddy current separation technology, high-frequency eddy current separators realize precise separation of non-ferrous metals from plastic and mixed polymer materials, achieving a separation accuracy of 0.3mm and widely applying to e-waste and solid waste recycling. The mass production of N55 neodymium iron boron materials further improves the magnetic stability of drawer grate magnets, with a demagnetization rate below 5% within 8 years and greatly reduced later operation and maintenance costs.
